Synopsis
Set in Haiti during the rule of the dictator Papa Doc Duvalier, The Comedians follows the lives of various characters caught in the midst of political turmoil and personal struggles. British hotelier Brown (played by Richard Burton) unwittingly becomes entangled with a shady businessman, Major Jones. Along with Martha, a widow with a tragic past, the characters navigate through deception, betrayal, and a desire for freedom.
