The Corruptor

Synopsis

In New York City's Chinatown, Detective Nick Chen (Chow Yun-Fat) keeps order in the streets, but a power struggle between warring gangs threatens to disrupt the peace. Chen is partnered with Danny Wallace (Mark Wahlberg), a brash young cop who has a different style and is not accustomed to the methods used in the neighborhood. As Chen and Wallace investigate a new gang in town, they uncover a web of corruption and deception that forces them to question loyalties and make difficult choices to maintain the fragile balance between justice and revenge.
