Reviews

Despite its gritty portrayal of organized crime in 1960s London, 'The Frightened City' received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised Herbert Lom's chilling performance as the mastermind behind the criminal activities, others found the film to be lacking in depth and originality. Rotten Tomatoes gave it an average rating of 3.5/5, with critics applauding the film's atmospheric setting and suspenseful moments. On the other hand, IMDb users rated it 6.2/10, pointing out the predictable plot twists and mediocre character development. Despite its flaws, 'The Frightened City' manages to deliver an entertaining story of crime, corruption, and redemption set against the backdrop of a city on edge.
