Synopsis

In 1926, a forbidden love leads to betrayal and consequences that last for millennia. Fast forward to 1932 in Egypt, where an American adventurer, Rick O'Connell, unearths a cursed mummy, Imhotep, along with the lost city of Hamunaptra. As Imhotep awakens, bringing plagues and seeking his lost love, an epic battle of good versus evil ensues. With the help of Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan and her brother Jonathan, Rick must stop Imhotep from unleashing his wrath upon the world and ultimately save humanity from an ancient evil that threatens to destroy everything in its path.
