Synopsis

The Spirit, released in 2008, is a visually striking film based on the eponymous comic book by Will Eisner. Directed by Frank Miller, the movie follows the story of Denny Colt (Gabriel Macht), a masked vigilante who rises from the dead to fight crime in Central City. As The Spirit navigates the dangerous world of his city, he encounters a myriad of eccentric characters including the seductive Sand Saref (Eva Mendes) and the diabolical villain, The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson).
