Synopsis

The Midnight After (original title: 那夜凌晨，我坐上了旺角開往大埔的紅VAN) is a 2014 science fiction thriller film directed by Fruit Chan. The story follows a group of Hong Kong citizens who board a red minibus traveling from Mong Kok to Tai Po. However, upon passing through a tunnel, they emerge into a mysterious deserted city with all forms of communication cut off.
