Reviews
Despite its low-budget nature, 'Bugs' manages to deliver some thrills and chills that cater to fans of creature features. The CGI effects, while not top-notch, serve the purpose of creating a sense of impending danger from the insect swarm. Antonio Sabàto, Jr. brings a charismatic presence to the film, anchoring the performances with his portrayal of the sheriff facing an unimaginable threat. However, the film falls short in terms of character development and plot coherence, leaving viewers wishing for more depth in the storytelling. Rotten Tomatoes critics highlight the film's potential but criticize its execution, giving it a lackluster rating. IMDb ratings echo a similar sentiment, with a notable average score of 3.8/10. Despite its flaws, 'Bugs' manages to entertain those looking for a B-movie creature flick with a sprinkle of suspense.
