Synopsis

In the movie Chronicle, a group of high school friends stumble upon a mysterious object which grants them telekinetic powers. Initially using their newfound abilities for fun, they soon find themselves thrust into a darker world as their powers spiral out of control. As one of the friends, Andrew Detmer (played by Dane DeHaan), grapples with his troubled past and the ramifications of his incredible powers, the group's bond is tested to the limit. Directed by Josh Trank, Chronicle explores themes of friendship, power, and the consequences of unchecked ambition in a gripping and intense narrative.
