Synopsis

The Order, released in 2003, follows the story of Alex Bernier, a young priest played by Heath Ledger, who is assigned to investigate the mysterious death of his mentor in Rome. As he delves deeper into the investigation, he uncovers a secret society known as 'The Carolingians' that has the power to determine who will become the next Pope. Confronted with a series of supernatural events, Alex must confront his own faith and beliefs as he races against time to stop a dark supernatural force from taking over.
