Reviews

The Order received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some praised Heath Ledger's performance and the film's atmospheric setting in Rome, others criticized its convoluted plot and inconsistent pacing. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a dismal 10% rating, with critics calling it 'muddled and uninspired'. IMDb users rated it 5.1/10, citing the film's potential that ultimately falls short due to its execution. Metacritic gave it a score of 21/100, noting that despite Ledger's charismatic presence, the film fails to deliver a cohesive and engaging narrative. Overall, The Order is a divisive film that may appeal to fans of supernatural thrillers but falls short of expectations in terms of storytelling and execution.
