Synopsis

Boychoir, directed by François Girard, tells the story of Stet, a troubled 12-year-old boy who discovers his extraordinary singing talent and gets accepted into an elite music academy school. Under the strict guidance of the maestro Carvelle, played by Dustin Hoffman, Stet faces challenges as he tries to find his voice and his place amongst his peers. As he navigates through his personal struggles and the competitive world of the choir, Stet learns valuable lessons about discipline, passion, and the power of music.
