Synopsis

Based on the novel by Haruki Murakami, 'Norwegian Wood' is a poignant coming-of-age drama set in 1960s Japan. The story follows Toru Watanabe, a young college student, who finds himself torn between two very different women - the free-spirited Naoko and the outgoing, vivacious Midori. As Toru navigates the complexities of love, loss, and mental illness, the film beautifully captures the melancholy and nostalgia of youth. With stunning cinematography and a hauntingly beautiful score, 'Norwegian Wood' explores themes of friendship, desire, and the search for meaning in a changing world.
