On IMDb, it holds a solid rating of 7.5/10 based on user reviews, indicating favorable reception. Fans have praised the show’s animation quality and the chemistry between the main characters, highlighting how it effectively builds tension and emotional depth without resorting to clichés. According to user reviews on MyAnimeList and other anime-focused platforms, the series is appreciated for its fresh take on the supernatural genre, although some critics note that the pacing can occasionally feel uneven. Rotten Tomatoes does not have an official score for Spiritpact due to its niche market, but community reviews align with its positive reception. While it may not break new ground in animation style, Spiritpact’s storytelling and engaging characters have made it a memorable series within the donghua community. Some negative critiques mention that the show could have developed supporting characters more fully and that the plot can sometimes be predictable, but overall, it remains a well-regarded title for fans of fantasy and supernatural animation.
