Reviews
The Last Legion received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its ambitious scope and historical backdrop while others critiqued its uneven pacing and lackluster execution. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a meager 15% rating, citing its convoluted plot and unconvincing performances. Metacritic scored it at 37/100, highlighting its scattered narrative and inconsistent character development. IMDb users rated it 5.4/10, acknowledging its potential yet faulting its failure to fully realize it. Despite its flaws, the film's grand visuals, charismatic performances from actors like Colin Firth, and the nostalgic nod to Roman history managed to captivate a portion of the audience.
