Synopsis

Charlie St. Cloud, played by Zac Efron, is a promising young sailor with a bright future ahead of him. However, a tragic car accident takes the life of his younger brother, Sam. Grief-stricken and consumed by guilt, Charlie gives up his dreams to keep a promise to his brother. He starts working at a local cemetery, where he has a supernatural connection with Sam's spirit.
