Synopsis

Ao Horie is a diligent high school student who aspires to study hard and get into a good university. However, her plans get disrupted when her father, an erotic novelist, publishes a scandalous novel that gains massive popularity. The novel tarnishes Ao's reputation at school, and she becomes self-conscious about love and relationships. To complicate matters further, Ao finds herself drawn to Takumi Kijima, a classmate who seems to be interested in getting to know her despite her awkwardness around romance. Ao-chan Can't Study! follows Ao's comedic and heartwarming journey as she navigates through the challenges of adolescence and tries to balance her studies with her newfound feelings of love and desire.
