Synopsis

Kick-Ass is a 2010 action-comedy film directed by Matthew Vaughn, based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. The story follows Dave Lizewski, a high school student who decides to become a real-life superhero despite lacking superpowers or training. As he takes on the alter ego of Kick-Ass, he encounters other costumed vigilantes, including the formidable Hit-Girl and her father Big Daddy. Together, they face off against the ruthless crime lord Frank D'Amico. Kick-Ass explores themes of heroism, identity, and the blurred line between fantasy and reality, all set against a backdrop of dark humor and intense action sequences.
