Reviews
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the visual effects and epic battle sequences, others found the film to be overstuffed and lacking emotional depth. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 59%, with the general consensus being that while it provides a suitably action-packed conclusion to the trilogy, it's somewhat unsatisfying. IMDb users rated it 7.4/10, appreciating the performances and spectacle but noting pacing issues. Metacritic gave it a score of 59/100, citing a lack of narrative focus as a drawback. Despite the criticisms, fans of the franchise enjoyed the grand scale and closure the film provided.
