Synopsis

Runner Runner is a 2013 American crime thriller film starring Justin Timberlake as a Princeton graduate student who becomes involved in the shady world of online gambling in order to pay his tuition fees. When he goes to Costa Rica to confront the owner of the gambling site, Ivan Block (played by Ben Affleck), he is offered a seductive lifestyle filled with wealth and luxury. However, he soon realizes the dark side of the business and must navigate a dangerous game of deception and intrigue to survive. The movie explores themes of ambition, greed, and moral dilemmas in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.
