Synopsis

In the 2011 movie Green Lantern, test pilot Hal Jordan is chosen by a dying alien to be the first human member of the Green Lantern Corps, a group of intergalactic protectors. Hal must harness his willpower and overcome his fears to defeat the evil Parallax, who threatens to destroy Earth and the entire universe. As Hal trains with the Lanterns, he discovers the true power of the ring and faces moral dilemmas that test his resolve. With Earth's fate hanging in the balance, Hal must rise to the challenge and become the hero that the universe needs.
