The film's practical effects and creature designs are surprisingly effective, adding a sense of nostalgia for fans of retro horror flicks. Critics have noted the film's ability to create a tense atmosphere and maintain a compelling pace throughout. While some may find the acting to be a bit over-the-top, others appreciate the film's commitment to its cheesy aesthetic. Overall, 'The Brain' offers a fun ride for those looking for a nostalgic trip into 80s horror cinema.
