Reviews

Routasydän received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some praised the authentic portrayal of rural life in Finland and the strong performances by the cast, others found the pacing slow and the narrative disjointed. Rotten Tomatoes described the film as 'a visually stunning and emotionally resonant drama that immerses viewers in the rugged beauty of Finnish landscapes.' On the other hand, IMDb users rated it 5.4/10, with some viewers criticizing the lack of character development and the bleak atmosphere. Metacritic highlighted the film's cinematography and thematic depth but noted that it may not appeal to a wider mainstream audience. Overall, Routasydän is a thought-provoking film that offers a glimpse into the complexities of human relationships and the enduring spirit of the human heart.
