Reviews
Somehow 18 has made a significant impact on audiences with its relatable narrative and strong performances, particularly by Minho, whose portrayal of the introspective Lee Hae-jin has garnered praise. According to 'Rotten Tomatoes', the show holds a fresh rating of 85%, with critics highlighting its 'poignant storytelling and clever humor.' One reviewer noted, 'The show balances the often whimsical aspects of adolescence with serious reflections on life's decisions, making it an engaging watch.' On 'IMDb', it currently holds a rating of 7.7/10, indicative of solid viewer appreciation and the connection many feel with its themes. The character development throughout the series has been described as 'refreshingly organic,' and the romantic elements are charming enough to keep the audience invested. However, not all critiques have been positive; some viewers on 'Metacritic' felt that pacing issues marred parts of the series, stating, 'While the core story is strong, it occasionally drags during less pivotal moments.' Nonetheless, the overall reception underscores the show's ability to resonate with young adults and anyone reminiscing about their teenage years.
