Reviews
Laserblast, released in 1978 and starring Kim Milford, has garnered mixed reviews from critics. While some praise its low-budget charm and nostalgic appeal, others criticize its dated special effects and uneven pacing. Variety described it as 'a cheesy but entertaining throwback to 70s sci-fi B-movies', highlighting the film's campy fun factor. On the other hand, Roger Ebert's review was less forgiving, calling it 'an incoherent mess lacking in both character development and narrative coherence'. Despite its flaws, Laserblast has developed a dedicated cult following over the years, with fans appreciating its unique blend of sci-fi elements and over-the-top action. IMDb's rating of 2.8/10 reflects the polarizing nature of this cult classic.
