Synopsis

Winchester is a supernatural horror film that follows the story of a haunted widow named Sarah Winchester, played by Helen Mirren, who is convinced that she is cursed by the spirits of those killed by the famous Winchester rifle. To protect her family and herself, Sarah continuously builds and remodels her mansion in San Jose, California with staircases leading to nowhere and doors opening to walls. As a skeptical doctor, played by Jason Clarke, visits the mansion to evaluate Sarah's mental state, he soon realizes that the paranormal occurrences may be all too real. The tension builds as the doctor discovers the dark secrets hidden within the Winchester Mystery House and must confront the malevolent spirits that haunt the mansion.
