Synopsis

In the satirical comedy film 'Our Man in Havana' released in 1960, Alec Guinness stars as Jim Wormold, a vacuum cleaner salesman who is unexpectedly recruited as a secret agent for the British government in Cuba. Faced with the pressure to report valuable intelligence, Wormold fabricates information but soon finds himself entangled in a web of espionage and deceit. As his fictional reports start to have real-life consequences, Wormold must navigate a dangerous game of espionage to protect himself and his loved ones. The film humorously explores the absurdities of the spy world and the consequences of living a lie.
