Reviews

Antitrust, a film directed by Peter Howitt, received mixed reviews from critics upon its release in 2001. While some praised the film's fast-paced techno-thriller narrative and themes exploring corporate corruption and privacy concerns, others criticized its cliched characters and predictable plot twists. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 24%, with critics mentioning that the film lacked depth and originality. IMDb rated it at 6.1/10, indicating a polarizing response from audiences. Metacritic scored it at 31/100, citing the movie's reliance on familiar tropes and lack of innovation in the tech-thriller genre. Despite the criticisms, some reviewers appreciated Ryan Phillippe's performance and the film's attempt to shed light on the darker side of the tech industry.
