Reviews
Blue Box has received a mixed reception from critics and viewers alike. While some appreciate the show's realistic portrayal of high school life, character development, and sports dynamics, others find the plot predictable and the pacing inconsistent. The animation quality and soundtrack have been praised for enhancing the emotional impact of key moments, capturing the intensity of tennis matches, and conveying the characters' emotions effectively. On the other hand, some critics have pointed out the lack of originality in the storyline and the cliched character tropes. Overall, Blue Box manages to strike a balance between sports drama and coming-of-age themes, offering a compelling narrative with relatable characters and engaging tennis matches. Fans of sports anime may find it enjoyable, despite its flaws. Rotten Tomatoes: 3.5/5, IMDb: 7.2/10, Metacritic: 65%.
