Synopsis

In the movie Censor, directed by Prano Bailey-Bond, Enid works at the British Board of Film Classification during the height of the 'video nasty' era in 1985. Traumatized by the disappearance of her sister as a child, Enid applies stringent censorship rules with an unwavering commitment to protecting audiences from the harmful effects of gory and explicit content. However, when she watches a film that mirrors her own past, she is forced to confront her suppressed memories and question the fine line between reality and fiction, unraveling a dark mystery that blurs the boundaries of censorship and sanity.
