Synopsis
In the 1950s, 'Cry-Baby' Wade Walker, played by Johnny Depp, is the leader of a group of delinquent teens known as the Drapes. His bad boy image is challenged when he falls in love with a square girl named Allison, a member of the affluent Sqaures. Their forbidden romance sparks a war between the two groups, leading to a series of comedic and musical escapades. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, Cry-Baby and Allison must navigate the complexities of societal expectations and young love in a retro, rock and roll-infused world. With flamboyant characters and toe-tapping tunes, Cry-Baby is a nostalgic romp that pays homage to the era of greasers, rebels, and star-crossed lovers.
