Synopsis

In the futuristic world of Equilibrium, emotions are outlawed and citizens are required to take a daily dose of a drug to suppress their feelings. Christian Bale stars as John Preston, a high-ranking officer in the government tasked with enforcing this rule. However, when Preston misses a dose and starts to feel emotions himself, he is torn between his loyalty to the regime and his newfound awakening.
