Reviews
Lost ID earned mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike. The show holds an IMDb rating of 5.7/10, which reflects a divided audience. Positive reviews, such as from Japan Times, praised Tatsuya Fujiwara's compelling performance and the show's engaging premise. One reviewer noted, 'Fujiwara delivers a riveting performance that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.' However, not all feedback was glowing. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic highlighted issues with pacing and convoluted plotlines. A review from Metacritic stated, 'While Lost ID starts strong with an intriguing concept, it unfortunately loses momentum midway, leaving viewers perplexed rather than intrigued.' Common Sense Media echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that the series' complexity and numerous subplots might deter casual viewers seeking straightforward narratives. Despite the criticism, die-hard fans of the genre appreciate its daring approach and complex narrative structure. Overall, Lost ID presents a polarizing experience that is either adored or overlooked by viewers.
