The Core

Synopsis

The Core, released in 2003, directed by Jon Amiel, follows a team of scientists who embark on a dangerous mission to re-start the Earth's core as it has stopped spinning. With the planet facing catastrophic consequences, including disruption of the electromagnetic field leading to disastrous weather conditions, the team must journey to the Earth's core aboard a specially designed vessel. Led by geophysicist Dr. Josh Keyes (Aaron Eckhart) and supported by an expert crew, they face numerous challenges and life-threatening situations as they delve deeper into the unknown depths of the planet. The movie blends elements of science fiction, action, and thriller as the team races against time to save the world from impending doom.
