Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a low rating of 13%, with critics calling it a predictable and clichéd family comedy. IMDb users rated the movie 5.6/10, with some viewers finding the fish-out-of-water premise entertaining but criticizing its formulaic plot and lack of originality.
