The movie's attempts at updating the beloved characters often fall flat, with Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott unable to bring the same chemistry as the original actors. Rotten Tomatoes gives The Dukes of Hazzard a dismal rating of 14%, stating that the film is 'an ill-advised reboot' that misses the mark. IMDb users have rated the movie 5.1/10, pointing out its reliance on crude humor and shallow storyline.
