Reviews

The Flintstones had a mixed reception among critics and audiences alike. While some praised the film for its creativity in bringing the animated series to the big screen, others felt that it lacked the charm and wit of the original. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a low 23% rating, with critics calling it a 'modern stone age misfire' and criticizing its reliance on visual gags rather than engaging storytelling. IMDb users rated the film 5.0/10, with many citing the strong performances of John Goodman and Rick Moranis as highlights. Metacritic rated The Flintstones at 38/100, indicating mixed or average reviews. Despite the polarizing opinions, the film remains a nostalgic trip for fans of the original series and a fun watch for those looking for a light-hearted family comedy.
